Cheesecake

Thanks to a small army of cooks and chefs who donated recipes, and people who tested the recipes in lockdown, and others who helped in many ways, the book raised almost £20,000 for Chai Cancer Care.

In June 2024, Green Bean Books – in partnership with the Jewish Chronicle food editor Victoria Prever – tasted 11 different cheesecakes, which left us feeling particularly queasy. We also started collecting cheesecake recipes for a new fundraising book which has just been published as an eBook, and the hardback will follow in September 2025.  We were in the top ten on Amazon ahead of Prue Leith and Mary Berry! All royalties from sales of the book will be donated to Chai Cancer Care.
