To celebrate Israel’s 80th birthday in 2028, Green Bean Books will be publishing a compilation of artwork by Jewish artists from around the world. There are so many brilliant Jewish children’s book illustrators, and their work deserves to be better known and celebrated internationally!
80 illustrators will have their work published and we hope that, as well as a fundraising book, we will create an exhibition of their work which can be displayed in galleries and Jewish centres worldwide. We are tremendously proud that the project is being supported by Israeli President Isaac Herzog. The 80th anniversary of Israel is still a long way off, but the project is already underway.
